Hey Siri

Changing everything at once.

++++

When you scan the physical QR code with your mobile device, the gallery environment recedes into the palm of your hand. Maintenance and change are active efforts. Moving between technological harms, everyday conveniences, forgotten responsibilities, and small acts of care, it reflects on how we continually repair, revise, and renegotiate our relationship with innovation in its aftermath.

A conversation with a digital assistant. A shopping list of innovations. And personal organization into a reflection on technological life. As requests accumulate, are revised, forgotten, and restored, the work explores how convenience, responsibility, care, and unintended consequences become entangled in the ongoing maintenance of everyday worlds.

[ “Sometimes I find myself wondering if I am obsessing over the wrong things. Do I really care about what I am writing or am I just rallying against convenience for no real reason” ]
